Storyline

One day, you awake to find the warmth of your human body and flesh gone, replaced with cold bone. Your memory is a blur of vague glimpses of humanity. You find yourself in a strange, eldritch realm. You have become a Lich, and now you’re in an endless cycle where Liches fight to the death for supremacy, until only one remains – the „Lich Lord“ – only for the cycle to begin again…

Lich Lords is a dark fantasy ARPG dungeon crawler set in a purgatory-like realm, where an eternal struggle rages among the undead. Countless Lich battle for dominance, seeking to ascend to the ultimate status of Lich Lord, ruler of the dimension.

As one of many aspiring Lich, you must descend into the deepest, most eldritch dungeons of the realm, eliminating rival Lich and the horrific, nightmarish creatures that lurk in the shadows. Only by surviving the relentless onslaught can you claim the throne and become the Lich Lord. But your reign will be fleeting—once crowned, a new cycle begins, and an endless legion of challengers will rise, all seeking to dethrone you and seize power for themselves.

Lich Lords blends roguelike dungeon crawling with the punishing combat of souls-like games, combined with the fast-paced action of classic hack ’n‘ slash ARPGs. You’ll likely create and control countless new Lich, experiment with different classes, acquire unique loot and skills, and die repeatedly—until you finally rise as the one true Lich Lord.
