Darkest Dungeon II: Oblivion Edition

Storyline

The world has fallen to ruin. A scholar’s reckless experiments with an eldritch force called the Iron Crown spiraled out of control, triggering a catastrophic realignment that drove most of humanity to madness and tore open the way for horrors from beyond to invade. Wracked with guilt and trapped in a cycle of repeating torment, the Scholar is visited by his old mentor, who entrusts him with the flame of Hope and a grim purpose: carry that light across the blighted land to the distant Mountain, the source of the corruption, and finally reckon with the mistakes that doomed the world. Commandeering a battered stagecoach, the Scholar gathers a band of broken, haunted heroes and sets out on a desperate journey through bandit-ridden roads, cult strongholds, and monster-infested wilds. Along the way, the travelers confront their own buried pasts, mounting despair, and fraying bonds as the ever-present darkness closes in.
